B-2 Bomber: Capabilities
The B-2 Bomber uses specialised radar-absorbent materials, and it features minimal seams to create a radar cross-section that appears like a bird. It has a 4000-pound payload capacity, and it can deliver conventional and nuclear weapons. It is also the only aircraft in the US Air Force’s arsenal that can carry the GBU-57 MOS, which is used to destroy underground targets. The B-2 Bomber has a range of 6000 nautical miles, which can be increased to 10,000 nautical miles with a mid-air refueling.
