Chery iCar V23 In India: JSW Motors is planning on entering the Indian market as an individual brand soon, and it has partnered with the Chinese car manufacturer, Chery. The Chery iCar V23 was recently spied testing in India, which hints that the SUV might be launched in India under the JSW Motors’ banner. JSW Motors’ Upcoming SUV: Design
The prototype of the JSW Motor’s Chery iCar V23-based SUV was heavily camouflaged when spied. However, it reveals several key design details such as an upright boxy stance, a side step, and flared wheel arches. At the rear, it gets horizontal taillights and a boxy storage area for the charging cable. While the Jetour T2 is expected to be the first car from JSW Motors, the iCar V23 was officially teased by the brand, which further raises the speculation that the V23 might be the first JSW Motors car in India. However, the brand has not yet shared any timeline.

JSW Motors’ Chery iCar V23: Specs
The Chery iCar V23 is a purely electric SUV offered with multiple battery options. Lower trims of the SUV draw power from either a 47 kWh or a 60 kWh battery pack, and they feature a rear wheel drive system with 135 hp and 180 Nm torque. The higher specs of the SUV come equipped with a larger, 81.7 kWh battery pack, and an All Wheel Drive system with 501 kilometres of range. and they can generate peak power and torque output of 212 hp and 292 Nm, respectively.
