Maruti Suzuki Price Hike: Third One This Year

It is worth mentioning that the recently announced price hike is the third price hike announced by the brand this year. The brand announced a price hike of up to Rs 30,000 in June 2026, and then another price hike of up to Rs 30,000 was announced in August 2026. It is worth noting that the price hike of up to Rs 30,000 in June and August doesn’t apply to all models, and only select models and their variants became expensive.

The brand has not yet announced a variant-wise price hike for September 2026, and exact details are yet to be announced. As per the regulatory filing, the brand has cited increased inflationary pressure and an adverse cost environment as the reason behind the price hike.
