Kia Seltos Crosses 13,000 Units Per Month; Highest Ever Monthly Sales Since India Debut

The Kia Seltos recorded its highest-ever monthly sales in October 2026, with more than 13,000 units sold in the Indian market. The South Korean car manufacturer also recorded its highest monthly sales, with a total of 33,462 units in the country. The brand registered 13.22 per cent year-on-year growth. The Kia Sonet has also remained a key contributor to the brand’s overall sales in October 2026.

It is worth mentioning that the brand has already overtaken its cumulative sales in CY25 (Calendar Year 2025). The brand sold a total of 2,80,286 units in 2025, and with two months remaining in CY2026 (Calendar Year 2026), it has already sold a total of 2,86,474 units.

Kia Seltos & Sonet Spearhead Brand’s Sales

The Kia Seltos and the Kia Sonet have emerged as the brand’s key volume contributors in October 2026. The Kia Seltos recorded sales of more than 13,000 units this month. The brand has also shared that the Seltos has maintained average monthly sales of more than 10,000 units since January 2026. The second generation of the Kia Seltos was launched in the country on January 2, 2026.

Kia’s EV & CNG Sales

Kia also registered its highest-ever monthly EV sales in October 2026. The brand recorded a 31 per cent month-on-month increase in its electric vehicle sales. The Kia Carens Clavis EV and the Kia Syros EV remained key contributors.

Kia CNG Sales

CNG vehicle adoption is increasing in the Indian market, and the same is reflected in Kia Sales in October 2026. The CNG iterations of the Kia Carens and Carens Clavis CNG contributed approximately 10 per cent of the brand’s overall monthly sales last month.
