As mentioned earlier, the Mahindra XUV 7XO has scored 5-star ratings in AOP as well as COP. The Mahindra XUV 7XO is available with two engine options, including a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine. Both of these engines can be paired with options of either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. While the petrol engine can generate a peak power and torque output of 200 hp and 380 Nm, respectively, the diesel engine can churn out 182 hp and 450 Nm of torque.
