Now, the brand seems to be quietly working on the E85 flex-fuel variant of the Royal Enfield Classic 350. A prototype of the Classic 350 E85 flex-fuel was recently spied testing in Chennai. Royal Enfield Classic 350 E85 Spied
As mentioned earlier, a prototype of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 E85 flex-fuel variant was recently spied. The test mule was completely undisguised, and the tank had a handwritten sticker with E85 written on it. The prototype looks completely the same as the standard model of Classic 350 except for a few details. The test mule had an unreleased shade, and it was riding on alloy wheels, whereas the standard model rides on the spoke wheels.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 E85: Importance
The snapping of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 E85 flex-fuel variant suggests that it is more important than just a normal test mule spying. The Classic 350 uses a J-series engine, which is shared with the brand’s other models, including the Meteor 350, Bullet 350, and Hunter 350. The flex-fuel variant suggests that the brand might prepare its entire 350 lineup for flex-fuel in one go.

India Moves To E85
The Indian government recently released a draft proposing E85 and E100 as recognised fuel standards in the country. The Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, has been strongly advocating for moving away from petrol and diesel to cleaner biofuel alternatives. The spying of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 suggests that manufacturers are taking this seriously and preparing their lineup for the upcoming fuel standards.
