Tata Motors is in the works to launch the facelift of its popular micro SUV, Tata Punch in the Indian market. In the recently revealed spy shots of the Tata Punch, it has been spotted with a digital instrument cluster. The manufacturer is gearing up to incorporate a digital instrument cluster as standard in all the variants of the Tata Punch micro SUV. As seen in the spy images, the lower variants will feature a 4-inch digital screen displaying information such as speed, time, odometer, trip meter, warning lights among other information.

The Tata Punch will be equipped with the same digital cluster unit that is used in the Tata Tiago, Tigor and the base level variant of the Nexon. However, the top-spec Creative variant of the Punch will be offered with the same semi-digital instrument cluster as it boasts a more premium display and was previously used in the last-gen Safari and Harrier.
Tata is offering the Punch compact SUV with a digital instrument cluster as standard across all variants because it aims to compete with other compact SUVs in the segment like Hyundai Exter. The incorporation of this digital instrument cluster in the Tata Punch will likely lead to a hike in the price of the micro SUV.
