Tata Sierra Safety:  The 2025 Tata Sierra has secured a 5-star rating in the crash tests organised by the Bharat NCAP (BNCAP). The 2025 Sierra was launched in India on November 25, 2025, and it has garnered significant attention ever since. The Sierra is priced between Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 21.29 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country, and it rivals the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, 2026 Renault Duster, and more mid-size SUVs in the Indian market. 2025 Tata Sierra: 5-Star Safety

As informed earlier, the 2025 Tata Sierra has secured 5-star safety ratings from BNCAP. The Sierra has secured a total of 31.14 points out of a maximum of 32 points in terms of Adult Occupant Protection (AOP). In terms of Child Occupant Protection (COP) the SUV has secured a total of 44.73 points out of a maximum of 49 points.

2025 Tata Sierra: Safety Features

The 2025 Tata Sierra comes equipped with several advanced safety features, including a Level 2 ADAS suite. The 2025 Sierra also features 6 airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, ABS with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), an electronic parking brake with auto hold function, a traction control system, a 360-degree camera, an auto-dimming IRVM, blind spot monitor, and rear parking sensors.

2025 Tata Sierra: Engine Specs

The Tata Sierra comes with multiple powertrain options, which essentially means that customers can choose a specific trim as per their specific needs. The Sierra comes with a choice of three powertrain options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine, a 1.5-litre Hyperion turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel engine. It also comes with a choice of transmission options, including a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque-converter automatic transmission, and a 7-speed DCT transmission. The NA petrol engine on the Tata Sierra produces a peak power and torque output of 106 ps and 145 Nm, respectively. The turbo petrol engine on the Tata Sierra generates 160 PS and 255 Nm, while the diesel engine churns out 118 PS and 280 Nm of torque.
