Tesla India Car Price: Tesla began its journey in India last year, and the Model Y was the first car offered by the brand in the country. Now, the brand has expanded its presence in India with the opening of a new experience centre in Hyderabad. The facility is the brand’s fifth experience centre in the country, and it is located in HITEC City’s Knowledge City in Madhapur. The new experience centre officially opened on June 17, 2026. The new experience centre will showcase the Model Y Premium Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) and the Model Y L, and it is expected to further strengthen the brand’s retail network in the Indian market.
Tesla Model Y Premium RWD
The Tesla Model Y Premium RWD was launched in India on May 29, 2026, and it is priced at Rs 50.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Model Y Premium RWD comes equipped with a 16-inch central touchscreen infotainment system and 8-inch screens for rear passengers. It comes packed with features such as all LED lighting, a panoramic sunroof, LED ambient lighting, reclining and foldable rear seats, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and more. The brand claims a range of 500 Km for the Tesla Model Y Premium RWD, and it can go from standstill to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds.

Tesla Model Y L
The Tesla Model Y L is the six-seater variant of the brand’s most popular electric SUV, and it was launched in India on April 22, 2026. The Model Y L has the same set of features as the Model Y Premium, and it also incorporates features such as a panoramic glass sunroof and an electrical liftgate. The Model Y boasts some of the most advanced ADAS features, which include a blind spot monitor, lane keep assist, and more. The Tesla Model Y long wheelbase is powered by the same 62.5 kWh battery pack. However, the Model Y long wheelbase is the first Tesla car to feature a dual-motor all-wheel drive setup. The Tesla Model Y long wheelbase has also become the highest range offering Tesla Model Y variant in the country. It has a claimed WLTP range of 681 kilometres. It can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 5 seconds.
