Tesla Supercharger India: Elon Musk-led Tesla is working on expanding its network in India, and the brand will be launching a new Supercharger station in Gurugram on December 17, 2025. The brand currently offers the Model Y electric SUV in the country, and the company is currently witnessing a slow start in the country. The brand recently opened its first-ever all-in-one centre in Gurugram on November 27, 2025.

Tesla Supercharger India: Cost
Tesla started its first-ever Supercharging station in India on April 4, 2025. The facility is located at BKC Mumbai, and it offers a total of 8 charger stalls, including 4 V4 stalls and 4 destination chargers. While the V4 stalls have a capacity of 250 kW, the destination chargers are available with a capacity of 11 kW. The brand has set the cost of its V4 stall at Rs 24/kWh, and Rs 11/kWh for the destination chargers. The brand then inaugurated its second supercharger facility in Delhi. Tesla will offer a total of 7 charging stalls in the national capital, with 4 being the V4 fast chargers with a capacity of 250 kW. In Delhi, the brand offers a total of 3 destination chargers with a maximum capacity of 11 kW. While the price for V4 chargers has been set at Rs 24/kWh, the destination chargers have a cost of Rs 14/kWh.

Tesla Supercharger And Model Y
The Model Y is available in the country with two different models: a standard model with a Rear Wheel Drive powertrain and a long-range Rear Wheel Drive powertrain. Both of these variants are powered by a 62.5 kWh battery, and while the standard variant has a claimed range of up to 500 kilometers, the long-range variant has a claimed range of up to 622 kilometers once fully charged. Using the V4 stall, the Model Y can be completely charged in just 15 Minutes. While it will take around 6 hours to completely charge the Tesla Model Y using the 11 kW destination charger.
