Toyota Urban Cruiser EV Launch:  The Toyota Urban Cruiser EV is all set to be launched in India tomorrow. The Urban Cruiser EV will be the brand’s first electric car in the country, and it was launched in Indonesia in November 2025. The brand has also shared several teasers of its upcoming Urban Cruiser EV. Let’s take a look at the design, features, and powertrain of the upcoming Toyota Urban Cruiser EV.

Toyota Urban Cruiser EV: Design

At the front, the Toyota Urban Cruiser EV features swept-back headlights with eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs and a connecting light bar. It also features a blacked-out closed grille at the front, and the air intakes are placed lower on the bumper. The Urban Cruiser EV also features a sculpted bumper with functional air intakes. On the sides, it gets 18-inch aerodynamic wheels and a thick body cladding which runs throughout the length of the SUV. From the sides, the Urban Cruiser EV looks very similar to the Maruti Suzuki E Vitara, and it also gets a blacked-out ORVM with integrated LED turn signal. At the rear, it features taillamps with a connected light bar, similar to the E Vitara. It also gets a shark fin antenna, rear wiper, and a subtle roof spoiler with a mounted stop lamp.

Toyota Urban Cruiser EV: Features

The Urban Cruiser EV comes with several advanced features, such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen-based infotainment system, along with a 10.21-inch fully digital instrument cluster. It also features the brand’s T Intouch connectivity system, which provides consumers with vehicle information, vehicle status, and vehicle tracking functionalities. Other key features include an automatic climate control, a sunroof, an electronic parking brake with auto hold function, a powered seat for the driver, a JBL sound system, and a USB-C-type charging port.

Toyota Urban Cruiser EV: Range

The Toyota Urban Cruiser EV was launched with a 61.1 kWh battery pack in Indonesia. The electric motors on the Urban Cruiser EV are capable of generating a peak power and torque output of 172 hp and 192 Nm, respectively. The brand claims that the Urban Cruiser EV can cover up to 426.7 kilometres once fully charged. The Urban Cruiser EV comes with a Front Wheel Drive along with an All-Wheel Drive configuration.
