Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 Live Updates: Campaigning for the Bihar Assembly Election concluded on Tuesday evening, marking the end of high-decibel rallies and roadshows. Now, candidates will have 24 hours to make their final door-to-door visits with local supporters in a last effort to connect with voters. Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with women workers of the BJP-led NDA under the ‘Mera Booth Sabse Majboot’ initiative as the first phase of campaigning reaches its final stretch.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar addressed public meetings in Supaul, Khagaria, Begusarai, and Patna, while Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath held a rally in Gopalganj. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma campaigned for NDA in Siwan’s Raghunathpur, and Delhi CM Rekha Gupta is also expected to address voters in Gopalganj, as top leaders make a final push ahead of polling.
Voting for the first phase will take place on November 6 across 121 constituencies in 18 districts, with 3.75 crore voters deciding the fate of 1,314 candidates. The Election Commission has urged officials to ensure a festive and encouraging atmosphere on polling day, with measures such as mobile deposit facilities, new VIS slips, 100 per cent booth webcasting, and real-time reporting through the ECINET app to enhance transparency and voter participation.
