The Health Department, on Tuesday, issued large-scale transfer and posting orders for doctors across medical college hospitals, district hospitals, sub-divisional hospitals, and other healthcare facilities in the state. New civil surgeons have been appointed in Shivhar, Nawada, and Kishanganj.
According to the official notification, Dr Rajkumar Chaudhary, previously Associate Professor of ENT at ANMCH, Gaya, has been appointed as the Civil Surgeon of Kishanganj. Dr Deepak Kumar, formerly Associate Professor of Pathology at JLNMCH, Bhagalpur, has been posted as Civil Surgeon of Shivhar. Similarly, Dr Vinod Kumar Chaudhary, who served as General Medical Officer in Jehanabad, has been assigned as the Civil Surgeon of Nawada.

In addition, new superintendents have been posted in several institutions. Dr Yogendra Prasad Mandal has been appointed Superintendent of Guru Gobind Singh Hospital, Patna, while Dr Amit Kumar Jha has taken charge as Superintendent of Darbhanga Medical College Hospital.
The department has also released notifications for the appointment of Additional Director, Health, and Regional Additional Directors. Notably, the highest number of postings have been made for 269 positions of Senior Resident, Junior Resident, and Tutor. In total, 360 doctors have been assigned new postings, with immediate joining instructions issued to all.
