To ensure passenger safety during dense fog, the East Central Railway has temporarily cancelled the operations of three pairs of passenger trains. Chief Public Relations Officer Saraswati Chandra stated that these measures have been taken in light of reduced visibility affecting train operations in the winter season.

Train number 55122 Siwan-Samastipur Passenger and 55121 Samastipur-Siwan Passenger will not run from December 26 to February 1, 2026. Similarly, train number 65103 Ghazipur City-Dildarnagar Passenger and 65104 Dildarnagar-Ghazipur City Passenger will be cancelled from December 25 to January 31, 2026.

Additionally, train number 55098 Gorakhpur Cantt-Narkatiaganj Passenger will remain cancelled from December 25 to January 31, 2026, while train number 55097 Gorakhpur Cantt-Narkatiaganj Passenger will not operate from December 26 to February 1, 2026.

Passengers have been advised to check the status of their trains before travelling to avoid inconvenience.
