The toll tax for all types of vehicles passing through the Patna-Bakhtiyarpur toll plaza on NH-30, located in the Didarganj police station area, has been reduced. The reduction ranges from Rs 5 to Rs 25 depending on the vehicle type effective from midnight on Wednesday
This revision comes after an authority under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways sent a letter to the toll plaza management. The adjustment is attributed to a decrease in the linking factor of the Wholesale Price Index (WPI), which has fallen from 1.641 to 1.561.
Revised Toll Rates And Monthly Passes
One-Way Toll for Small Vehicles:
The one-way toll for small vehicles, including cars, jeeps, and vans, has been decreased to Rs 130 from the previous rate of Rs 140.
Local Monthly Pass:
For individuals residing within a 20 km radius of the toll plaza, the cost of a monthly pass has been reduced to Rs 340 from Rs 350.

Savings On Monthly Passes For Commercial And Heavy Vehicles:
Significant savings, ranging from Rs 140 to Rs 825, will be available on monthly passes for various categories of light and heavy vehicles. The specific savings are as follows:
- Light Vehicles (Cars, Jeeps, Vans): Rs 140
- Light Commercial Vehicles: RS 140
- Minibuses: Rs 205
- Four-Wheeled Buses and Trucks: Rs 415
- 12-Wheeled Vehicles (carrying heavy construction machinery): Rs 630
- Vehicles with more than 14 wheels: Rs 825
