Railways News: The Railways has informed that several key trains to Bihar will operate at different timings from January 1 to provide convenience to the passengers. The authority stated that the change in timings will regulate the operations, adding that the waiting time for passengers will also reduce. It further stated that along with a relief to the passengers, the changes will also help the staffers. The change in timings will also reduce the chances of train accidents and delays, the Railways added. It has advised the passengers to check the schedule and plan their travel accordingly to avoid inconveniences.

While providing details, Eastern Railway's CPRO Shivram Manjhi stated that some changes have been made to ensure that the trains operate on time. He further stated that the possibility of train delays increases when trains from two different sections are operating simultaneously.

New Timings Of Passenger Trains:

- Jamalpur to Kiul MEMU train will depart at 12.25 PM and arrive in Kiul at 1:50 PM
- Hansdiha to Bhagalpur local train will depart at 10.50 PM and arrive in Bhagalpur at 1.05 AM
- Bhagalpur to Hansdiha local train will depart at 8.30 PM and arrive in Hansdiha at 10.40 PM
- Rampurhat to Gaya Fast Passenger train will depart from Rampurhat one hour and 20 minutes earlier, at 7.45 AM
- Bhagalpur to Hansdiha Local train will depart Bhagalpur at 1.30 PM and arrive at Hansdiha at 4.20 PM
