Assam SIR Draft Roll 2026: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Saturday released the draft roll of the new voter list after the Special Intensive Revision. The SIR process is conducted to clean the voter list, including the removal of repeated names, the removal of names that have shifted or died, etc. And the process is only carried out when ECI believes the ‘summary revision’ isn't enough to clean the voter list.

Assam SIR Draft Roll: Check Step-by-Step Guide To Check Your Name Online

- Step 1 - Visit the official website of the Election Commission of India athttps://voters.eci.gov.in/download-eroll? and select Assam in the drop-down menu of the state section.

- Step 2- After selecting the state, you will find several similar options to select from the drop-down, such as listing Year of Revision, Roll Type, District, and Assembly Constituency.

You will have the option to choose your preferred language in which you want to see the draft roll.

- Step 3: Once you have filled in the relevant information in Step 2, you will be presented with a list of PDFs, featuring taluka names, village names, or polling booth and part numbers.

- Step 4: Open the PDF containing your poll booth number; your name would be in the same PDF. Booth numbers were mentioned on the forms issued to voters during the SIR process.

You can also check whether your name is in the Assam SIR draft roll or not by visiting https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/.

Just search your name using your EPIC number.

If you are unable to find your name in the list, contact your booth-level officer (BLO).

Assam SIR Draft List

The Assam SIR Draft roll, which was released on December 27, saw the deletion of over 10.56 lakh names, with the total number of voters standing roughly around 2,51,09,754.

Apart from the deleted names, over 90 thousand voters have been flagged as doubtful voters in the Assam SIR draft roll by the ECI.
