Bihar: In an effort to enhance passenger convenience, the Railway administration has decided to introduce new stops at Anara station (Purulia, West Bengal) for the Tatanagar-Buxar Express (18183/18184), which operates under the South Eastern Railway zone.
This new stop will be trialled on an experimental basis from February 10. The Tatanagar-Buxar Express will arrive at Anara station at 10:09 AM, departing shortly thereafter at 10:10 AM. On the return journey, the train will reach Anara station at 2:37 PM and depart at 2:38 PM. The addition of this stop will significantly improve convenience for passengers.
Patna-Nawada MEMU Train To Get Halt
To further enhance services, the Danapur division of East Central Railway has decided to introduce a stop at Kusumha Halt for train number 63389/63390, the Nawada-Patna Fast MEMU.
This stop will also be trialled on an experimental basis, starting from 7th February. The new stop is expected to benefit passengers from Kusumha and the surrounding areas directly.
As per the schedule, the Nawada-Patna MEMU will arrive at Kusumha Halt at 5:47 AM and depart at 5:48 AM. On the return leg, the Patna-Nawada MEMU will reach Kusumha Halt at 7:51 PM and depart at 7:52 PM. Railway officials have confirmed that this stop is currently experimental, and future decisions will be based on passenger numbers and feedback.
