Gold, Silver Rate On MCX: The Bullion Prices picked up the upward momentum in the domestic and international market after having a sharp correction in the past few sessions. The gold futures (April expiry) rose around Rs 3,000 to a high of Rs 1,53,450 per 10 grams in early trade on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) against last session's closing of Rs 1,51,418.

Similarly, Silver futures surged nearly Rs 8,000 on MCX to a high of Rs 2,36,820 per kilogram in the early session as compared to the last day's closing of Rs 2,28,783.

At the time of writing, MCX Silver was trading at Rs 2,36,600, up Rs 7,817 or 3.42 per cent, while MCX Gold was trading at 1,53,400, up Rs 1,982 or 1.31 per cent.

Gold and Silver Rate In International Market

The Gold and Silver prices picked up, gaining momentum post the decline in the previous few sessions in the international market. At the time of writing The COMEX Gold quoted at $4,954.50 per ounce, up $48.60 or 0.99 per cent. The COMEX Silver was trading at $75.705, up $1.9 or 2.70 per cent.

"COMEX Gold is trading near the $4,850–$5,100 zone following a sharp correction from recent highs above $5,500–$5,600. The broader uptrend remains intact, with the recent pullback appearing as healthy profit booking and price consolidation. Prices have slipped below key moving averages and are currently stabilising near those levels, indicating digestion of prior excesses. Strong buying interest is visible in the $4,500–$4,700 support band," said Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money.

24k, 22k Gold Rate In India

The Gold prices for different purity levels rose in the domestic retail market as well. The 24 karat gold rate today is Rs 1,53,590 per 10 grams, whilethe  22 karat gold price today is Rs 1,40,791 per 10 grams.

Meanwhile, the 20 karat gold rate today is Rs 1,27,992 per 10 grams, while the 18 karat gold rate is Rs 1,15,193 per 10 grams.
