The National Stock Exchange of India's (NSE) Rs 22,569 crore initial public offering (IPO) was concluded on September 21, getting 5.71 bids during the three-day bidding process. Its shares are now scheduled to be listed on both the BSE and NSE on Thursday, September 24. Meanwhile, the share allotment for the IPO is expected to be finalised today, September 22. Subsequent to IPO allotment, the shares will be credited to successful bidders’ Demat accounts on Wednesday, September 23.

The NSE IPO started slowly, but eventually gained momentum due to strong demand from qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), and the retail portion was fully subscribed by the final day. This IPO is the second-largest IPO in Indian history and the largest public issue of 2026 so far.

NSE IPO GMP Declines
The NSE's GMP reached Rs 310 on September 5, after which it has been steadily declining. According to InvestorGain, the NSE's GMP is currently Rs 67. The Price band for the IPO was fixed at Rs 1,700 - Rs 1,785 per equity share.
