The mega Rs 22,569   crore initial public offering of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) concluded on Monday, September 21, with a decent 5.69 times subscription, receiving bids for 50,40,85,248 shares as compared to 8,86,42,911 total offered shares till 5:48 PM, as per NSE. The share sale, which was opened for public subscription on September 17 last week, was an entire offer for sale by existing shareholders. 

Meanwhile, NSE IPO GMO fell nearly flat on the final day of bidding, showing an expected subdued listing potential. 

NSE IPO Final Subscription Status 

According to NSE data, the IPO was subscribed 5.69 times till 5:48 PM. Meanwhile, Qualified Institutional Buyers led the subscription race, followed by Non-Institutional Investors.

NSE GMP Today

NSE IPO GMP was Rs 55, last recorded at 05:02 PM at Investorgain, a grey market tracker. With this, the NSE shares 's estimated listing price would be Rs 1,840, up 3.08 per cent from the IPO's upper price band of Rs 1785.00. Earlier, last week, NSE GMP was over Rs 200. 

The Grey market is an unofficial place where shares of companies trade before listing. The GMP does not show the exact listing price.

OFS Size Was Reduced

Due to the reduction in the size of OFS compared to the previously planned 14.9 crore shares, the total issue size has been reduced from the initial estimate of approximately Rs. 30,000 crore. At the lower end of the price range, the issue is valued at approximately Rs. 21,494 crore, while at the upper end it is valued at approximately Rs. 22,569 crore.
