The video quickly went viral. Arjun wished Sachin Tendulkar a Happy Birthday in a personal moment. He politely declined a Biscoff cheesecake, noting that he doesn't usually eat sugar. He ended the video with a 'see you soon' message to show his commitment to working hard for the Rishabh Pant-led side.

Sachin, known as the 'God of cricket', turned 53 on Friday. He celebrated his birthday without his son, who is currently with the Rishabh Pant-led side. While it was a celebratory moment for his family and fans around the world, the video also showcased Arjun Tendulkar's discipline. Arjun is still trying to make his presence felt in the tournament, following in his father's footsteps.

Arjun's stint at LSG

The Lucknow-based franchise signed Arjun for a base price of Rs 30 lakhs at last year's auction. Although he has been part of MI since IPL 2021, he hasn't had enough match experience, having played only 5 matches across 3 seasons.

Arjun’s move to LSG hasn’t paid off yet, as he is still competing for a spot in the playing XI and his debut for the new team.

Arjun’s debut match isn't far off. The Lucknow-based franchise has struggled to find the perfect playing XI under Rishabh Pant's leadership. This opens an opportunity for Arjun to be part of the middle order, an area that has struggled to capitalize on the top order’s starts.
