Bangladesh Cricket Board is yet to decide on their players' participation in the full season of IPL 2024, the 17th edition of the world's biggest franchise-based T20 tournament.
Bangladesh have three players on the auction list for the IPL 2024 and will go under the hammer in the event which is scheduled to take place on December 19.
Three Bangladeshi pacers, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, and Shoriful Islam registered and were named in the list for the IPL 2024 auction.
Mustafizur has a base price of INR 2 Crore while Taskin and Shoriful were bracketed in INR 75 Lakh and INR 50 Lakh respectively but it remains to be seen whether they will be able to attract any franchise.

With the fact that the board is not willing to release them for the whole season, the concern only increases for franchises while thinking about buying the players.
BCB is keen to prioritise the national interest and wants to make sure that their premier bowlers are managed well ahead of the World T20.
The IPL 2024 is scheduled to begin from March 24 with Bangladesh also set to host Sri Lanka for two Tests along with three ODIs and T20Is in the first week of March instead of the last week of February to make up for the Bangladesh Premier League.
Apart from that, Bangladesh are scheduled to host Zimbabwe for two Tests along with five T20Is in April and May.
"If the IPL conflicts with our national team in that case their (cricketers picked in the IPL players auction) chances are very slim to play the full tournament," Cricbuzz quoted BCB cricket operation chairman Jalal Yunus as saying on Friday.
"Furthermore, there is World T20 in June and we want to be careful in handling them as we need to think about their injury management, and for that reason, we want to take steps by taking everything into consideration," he said.
It is to be noted that the franchises prioritise focus on going with the players who can serve for the whole season or at least for the most part of the season.

Taskin, who will go under the hammer, missed the chance of playing in the IPL earlier after BCB did not release him.
Lucknow Super Giants had contacted the BCB in order to ask for the availability of Taskin for IPL 2022 after Mark Wood was ruled out from the tournament.
