Champions Trophy 2025: The PCB revealed that India had informed the International Cricket Council (ICC) that they won't be coming to Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy, which will be held in February-March next year. "The PCB has received an e-mail from the ICC, stating that the BCCI has informed them that their team will not travel to Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025," a statement released by the PCB said. "The PCB has forwarded that e-mail to the Government of Pakistan for their advice and guidance," a PCB spokesperson informed.
The board didn't reveal much about the mail they received from ICC, but Mohsin Naqvi, who is their chairman reckoned that they would reveal their policy when ICC gives them something in writing.
The Indian cricket board had previously informed the ICC about their inability to get to Pakistan and they would be left with no other option but to organize the tournament in a Hybrid model.

Naqvi admitted that they can't accept the hybrid model.
The Men in Blue haven't gone to Pakistan since 2008 as it was the last time that they had visited the neighbors for the 2008 Asia Cup, under MS Dhoni's leadership. The Men in Green last visited India for a bilateral series in 2012-13, for the 2016 T20 World Cup and the 2023 ODI World Cup.
According to initial reports, the Men in Blue would be playing all their matches in Dubai, which also includes the high-octane clash against arch-rivals Pakistan.
"This is an ICC event and BCCI has informed the global body that it won't travel to Pakistan. It will depend on the ICC to inform the host nation about the development and then close in on the scheduling of the tournament. The convention is to announce the schedule 100 days before the commencement of the event," a BCCI source was quoted as saying to PTI.
Dubai is one of the best venues, where all of India's matches should be held since it has three high-capacity stadiums and all the top-class facilities since it recently hosted the 2024 Women's T20 World Cup.
The 2023 Asia Cup, which was held by Pakistan, was also organized in a hybrid model since the Rohit Sharma-led side didn't go to Pakistan.
