IND vs AUS 1st ODI HIGHLIGHTS: Mitchell Marsh Stands Tall To Sink India's Ship; Australia Take 1-0 Lead

India National Cricket Team vs Australia Men's Cricket Team HIGHLIGHTS: After the wicket of Matt Short, Josh Philippe walked in and batted steadily alongside his skipper, Mitchell Marsh. As Philippe got used to the conditions, he started taking down the Indian bowlers and propelling Australia quickly towards the target. By the time, Washington Sundar picked up the wicket of Josh Philippe, the match had titled heavily in favour of the hosts. Mitchell Marsh stood tall and along with Matt Renshaw took Australia past the victory line with seven wickets in hand and 29 balls remaining in the game.
Despite the early wicket of Travis Head, Australia maintain their stronghold on the game. After Arshdeep Singh dismissed Head, Short joined Marsh in the middle. While Short took his time to settle down, Marsh went for the counter attack putting India on the backfoot. Akshar Patel picked up the wicket of Matt Short giving India hope.
India stifled at the start of their innings and then punished with wickets right at the end, as Australia's bowlers dominate in the first innings of this ODI series. KL Rahul (38) and Axar Patel (31), as well as debutant Nitish Kumar Reddy (19*) ensure that India's bowlers have something to defend, thanks to some late fireworks — but Australia definitely favourites with 131 needed off 26 overs.
Rohit Sharma nicked Josh Hazlewood for eight, and Virat Kohli mistimed Mitchell Starc to point for a duck, as the two people Indian fans had their eyes on were sent back to rather cheaply. Their comeback ended in a whimper more than a bang. Australia has pushed India back in the first 10 overs.
