Harmanpreet Kaur created history during the Women's Asia Cup 2026 clash against Pakistan by becoming the first cricketer in the world, across both men’s and women’s cricket, to captain a team in 150 T20I matches.

She reached the milestone during India’s third Group A match of the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 against Pakistan in Dubai. The game marked her 150th T20I as captain of India.
