IND vs PAK T20 World Cup 2026: India stamped their authority as they stormed to a big 61-run win over Pakistan to qualify for the Super 8 of the 2026 T20 World Cup. India produced a clinical performance to bowl out Pakistan for 114 in 18 overs after posting a challenging 175/6. For India, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakaravarthy, and Axar Patel took two wickets each.

Ishan Kishan scored a match-winning knock of 77 runs off 40 balls on a tricky pitch and helpeIndia post a target of 175 runs. 

This target became too much for the Salman Ali Agha-led side, who were skittled out for 114 runs. ThIndian fast bowlers and spinners took wickets at regular intervals and rattled Pakistan's batting line-up.

Jasprit Bumrah (2/17) and Axar Patel (2/19) were the stand out bowers for India. 

India's innings

Put in to bat, Kishan took the game away from Pakistan despite the fall of Abhishek Sharma in the first over bowled by Salman Ali Agha.

The other Indian batters found it tough to get the boundaries against the Pakistan spinners. Agha employed pace for just two overs in the innings.

India captain Suryakumar Yadav scored 32 off 27 balls. 

Off-spinner Saim Ayub was the pick of the Pakistan bowlers, ending with three wickets for 25 runs in four overs.

India will lock horns with Netherlands during their next match of the ongoing tournament on 18th Feb, at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. If they win this match, they will stay as the table toppers.
