IND vs UAE Youth ODI: India's star batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has revealed that he isn't affected by what people are saying behind him and how he was sledged on the field, and that he focused on what he wanted to do and didn't pay any attention to what UAE wicketkeeper Saleh Amin was saying to him. In his innings, he had smashed nine fours and 14 sixes and had scripted history for smashing the most fours in one youth ODI innings. His brilliant knock helped the team post a mammoth target of 433/6, and that was more than enough as they won the match by 234 runs.
This India vs UAE match became intense as Amin was seen sledging while he was wicketkeeping. But Vaibhav too didn't hold back as he then took the bowlers to the cleaners.
“Main Bihar se belong karta hu. Pichhe se koi kuch bhi bole, utna farak nahi padhta (I belong to Bihar. No matter what the other person is saying from behind, I really don’t care)," Vaibhav told broadcasters in the post-math presentation.

“The keeper was talking to me, it is their job to keep saying things, but I was focused on my own game, and I was looking to do what I wanted to do," he said.
He also revealed that his main aim was to bat deep for as long as possible to help his team dominate. In this innings, he was seen playing reverse sweeps and scoops and thus tried to show a different side tos his batting.
“I was trying to play as long as possible. At the start, I took some time as I was reading the wicket. After 10-12 balls, I started to back my game. I played one reverse sweep and one scoop shot," he added.

Batters like Vihaan Malhotra (69) and Aaron George (69) helped the team post a mammoth target of 433/6. This target of more than 400 runs was the most in U19 ODIs and is the highest in the history of this tournament.
