New Delhi | Jagran Sports Desk: India will face Bangladesh at the Arun Jaitley stadium in New Delhi today and the Men in Blue would look to maintain their winning streak against Bengal tigers in T20 internationals.

India have won eight straight T20I against Bangladesh and will hope to continue their unbeaten streak in Delhi today.

Meanwhile, Indian stand-in skipper Rohit Sharma will achieve another massive feat in his career as he will become the most capped Indian in T20I when he takes the field against Bangladesh.

The 32-year-old has played 98 T20Is so far and will go past Dhoni’s tally of 98 T20Is for India. He will also move to third place on the list of players with most T20I appearances after Pakistan’s Shoaib Malik (111) and Shahid Afridi (99).

The Mumbai batsman could also break Virat Kohli’s record of most runs scored in T20I cricket. Rohit is currently seven runs behind Kohli’s tally of 2,450 runs.

Rohit had earlier captained India to the Asia Cup victory last year when Kohli was rested.

“My job as a captain is very simple -- I just want to take the team forward from where Virat has left the team,” said Rohit in the pre-match press conference on Saturday.

“What I have done at the limited opportunities that I have got is to maintain what Virat has done previously with the team. I am just trying to carry that forward,” he added.

The stand-in skipper also hinted that Shivam Dube and Sanju Samson could make their international debut against Bangladesh in the opening T20 in Delhi.

"We will assess now and probably a bit before the game as well. But both (Sanju and Dube) are definitely in the fray. One of them might definitely play. You might see in playing XI. All doors are open for everyone. Anyone might come into the playing XI any moment," said Rohit.
