A chase which was never meant to be for the South Africans. Kuldeep Yadav has already taken four wickets as he eyes a fifer! Miller back on strike. OUT!!! Fifer for Kuldeep as South Africa has been bowled out for 95 in 13.5 overs. India win by 105 runs to level the series 1-1.

This is considerable amount of turn in the pitch which is proving too good for the South African batters. One can safely say that David Miller is the only batter keeping it alive for the hosts.

4th T20I hundred for Suryakumar Yadav. Excellent stuff from the Indian captain. He brought it up in 55 balls with a strike rate of 182. OUT!!! He departs right after 100. IND 194/5 (19.2)

13 runs off Tabraiz Shamsi final over. Two overs remain as India are on their way to breach the 200-run mark. Mind you - It is a small ground and above 200 is no certainity for a winning total.

23 off Andile Phelukwayo's over. This is top level stuff from the no.1 T20I batter - Suryakumar Yadav. The run-rate is back to above 10 RPO.

Fifty for Yashasvi Jaiswal. A testimony of how brilliant a player he is. It is his 3rd fifty of his career. SIX!! What a shot to break the shackles! IND 107/2 (11.4)

This is an excellent knock by Yashasvi Jaiswal. The proper T20 knock of a batter who is looking to score a boundary or a maximum. FOUR!!! Fifty partnership comes up between Sky and Jaiswal.

It is refreshing to see how batters are continuing to play their shots despite losing early wickets. Keshav Maharaj is back for another over. There is definite help for the spinners.

Back to back wickets for Keshav Maharaj! Tilak Varma plays it straight to Aiden Markram at mid-off. India 2 down already. IND 29/2 (2.3)

We wanted to put runs on the board and defend. Looks a good track, don't think it'll change much. That's the brand of play we want to play, guys want to be fearless. Lot of positives from the last game. Same playing XI.

We are gonna bowl first again. Fresh wicket, happy with how we chased the other night. There's room for improvement in all aspects. Opportunity tonight to fix that. It's big (to win a series against India). Great occasion, hopefully the boys can express themselves. We've got three changes. Kesh comes back, Nandre Burger gets his debut and Donovan Ferreira comes in for Stubbs

South Africa won the toss and elected to bowl first.

As the teams prepare for the Wanderers showdown, questions linger in the air, much like rain clouds, emphasizing the uncertainty and excitement that cricket brings. The hope is for a full and competitive contest, free from the disruptions caused by weather-related interruptions.

Key players to watch in the upcoming match include Suryakumar Yadav, who retained the top spot in the T20I batting rankings, and Rinku Singh, who showcased a notable unbeaten innings in the previous game. Potential debutants Nandre Burger and Ottniel Baartman could also make an impact and deny India a chance at redemption.

While the series outcome is beyond India's reach, they have a chance to salvage pride in the third T20I at the Wanderers. The Wanderers is the only international ground in South Africa where India has an equal win-loss record (5-5). The pitch at the Wanderers, known for its reputation as a fast bowler's venue, also provides favorable conditions for batting in white-ball cricket.

India, perhaps still recovering from their disappointment in the ODI World Cup, where expectations were high but they fell short, faces the challenge of regaining momentum. On the other hand, South Africa exceeded expectations by reaching the semi-finals in the ODI World Cup.

The match on Tuesday saw South Africa securing a victory by five wickets with seven balls to spare. Although neither team delivered a masterclass performance, South Africa demonstrated better adaptability, finding ways to win amidst the messy proceedings.

The ongoing men's T20I series between South Africa and India has faced weather-related challenges, with the first match at Kingsmead being abandoned due to weather conditions, and the second match at St George's Park being curtailed. The limited game time poses a significant concern for both teams, with the T20 World Cup approaching in the Caribbean and the United States in June.

Hello and welcome to the live cricket coverage of match no. 3 of the three match T20I series between India and South Africa here at the New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.
