IPL 2024 Orange Cap: Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill reached the fourth pot in the IPL 2024 Orange Cap standings after his unbeaten 89* against Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) clash on Thursday.
With 164 runs in fours matches, Gill placed himself behind Sunrisers Hyderabad's Heinrich Klaasen (167), who is placed in third spot while Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) Virat Kohli stands firmly at the top spot with 203 runs followed by Rajasthan Royals' Riyan Parag (181).

Sai Sudharshan's 33-run cameo off 19 balls including six fours steered him to fifth spot in the IPL 2024 most run-getter table with 160 runs in four matches. Delhi Capitals stars Rishabh Pant (152) and David Warner (148) have slipped to sixth and seventh spots respectively.
Punjab Kings skipper Shikhar Dhawan also dropped two places to finish at the 10th spot after getting out on one run.

Shashank Singh's match-winning half-century made him the third-highest run-getter for the franchise after Dhawan and Prabhsimran Singh (105 runs). He played a knock of 61* not out in 29 balls including six fours and four sixes to chase 200 total on the penultimate ball of the clash. His electric performance awarded him the Player of the Match.
Earlier, Gill's 89* along with knocks from Sudharshan (33) and Kane Williamson (33) enabled Gujarat Titans to cross the 150-run mark before Rahul Tewatia's eight-ball 23 blitz steered them 199/4 in 20 overs. He finished hammered one six and three fours to attain the strike rate of 287.50.
