Chasing the target, the hosts were off to a flying start on the back of a fiery knock from Abhishek Sharma who smashed 37 runs off just 12 balls.

After being put into bat first, CSK had their struggles at regular intervals but managed to reach 165/5 in their 20 overs.

While other CSK batters struggled to get going in the middle, Shivam Dube played yet another remarkable innings of 45 runs in just 24 balls, hitting two fours and four sixes.

Talking about the points table, Kolkata Knight Riders continue to stay at the top with wins in all of their first three matches.

Rajasthan Royals have as many wins under their belt but are placed second due to less net run rate than KKR.

Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans are placed sixth and seventh respectively with four points each.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who will be up against RR in their next match, stand in the eighth position with just one win followed by Delhi Capitals in ninth place.
