GT vs MI IPL 2026: The Gujarat Titans vs Mumbai Indians IPL 2026 match wasn't just about some brilliant cricketing experience, but there was also some fun banter amongst the players involved. Star MI pacer Jasprit Bumrah was seen teasing his fellow team India fast bowler Mohammed Siraj in Ahmedabad, and what happened after that was hilarious.

The Gujarat Titans shared a video on its official social media account in which Bumrah was seen teasing Siraj in front of Prasidh Krishna, telling him that Siraj never sends him Biryani whenever Bumrah is in Hyderabad. Bumrah also emphasized that no police vehicles bearing the 'DSP' designation were available to drop him off.

“When I go to Hyderabad, I ask him to send Biryani, then he does. There’s no police car waiting for me, which says DSP," Bumrah was heard as saying in the video.

Mumbai Beat Gujarat By 5 Wickets

Tilak Varma scored a memorable innings, hitting his first IPL century and helping MI defeat GT by 99 runs. Tilak, who had initially struggled at 19 off 22, then made a brilliant comeback after receiving a serious pep talk from Hardik Pandya, scoring 83 runs off the next 23 balls and smashing his maiden hundred off 45 balls. The Mumbai-based franchise's target of 199 runs was more than enough to defend as Jasprit Bumrah took his first wicket of the season on his first ball, and Ashwani Kumar (4/22) dismantled GT's batting lineup and helped the team skittle them out for just 100 runs.
