KKR vs MI Toss Update, IPL 2024: Mumbai Indians have won the toss and opted to bowl first against Kolkata Knight Riders in match 60 of the IPL 2024 at the Eden Gardens on Saturday, May 11.

The match has been reduced to 16 overs per side due to a long and frustrating rain delay at the venue.

KKR lost their seventh successive toss this season but still have been in sublime form and is the most consistent team so far.

They will be looking for a win and become the first team this season to officially qualify for the playoffs, having been the top-placed side in the standings.

"We are going to bowl. Just want to see how the pitch behaves. It has been under covers for two days. We all are aware of the stats, but you got to turn up and play good cricket on the day. Same team," MI skipper Hardik Pandya said at the toss.

Talking about KKR, they came up with one change as Nitish Rana made his return to the side and replaced Angkrish Raghuvanshi in the starting XI.

"I tried it another time (toss), still it came down as heads (smiles at his record on losing tosses). It's part and parcel but it such games it's crucial. Not going to take those excuses though. We want the Q next to our team. Nitish comes in for Angkrish," Shreyas said at the toss.
