Praful Hinge IPL Record: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)'s pacer Praful Hinge came into the limelight on Monday after his brilliant spell against the Rajasthan Royals. Hinge shattered the top order of Royals by sending Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Dhruv Jurel, and Lhuan-dre Pretorius to the pavilion in the first over of the second innings. His unforgettable spell helped the Ishan Kishan-led side defeat the Rajasthan Royals by 57 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. SRH climbed to the fourth spot in the points table with 4 points after defeating the Royals.
While Hinge became a household name after his spell against Royals, his career looked uncertain after suffering a stress fracture about two and a half years ago. As per Hinge's father, Prakash Hinge, former Indian fast bowler and Sunrisers Hyderabad bowling coach Varun Aaron helped the pacer during the difficult phase. "Just when we felt that his career was over, Varun Aaron appeared like an angel and guided Praful through this challenging period," Hinge stated.
After his recovery, Australian legend Glenn McGrath invited him to Australia to work on his skills. Hinge underwent three weeks of training at Cricket Australia's National Centre in Brisbane under the guidance of McGrath. Ranjit Paradkar, Praful's coach, states that while the pacer was always talented, the assistance from the Australian legend helped him further.
He also pointed out that Hinge's bowling underwent technical improvements following his recovery, making him even more formidable. Praful claimed wickets on the second, fourth, and sixth deliveries of the very first over of the match. Apart from this, on the sixth delivery of his second over, he also took the wicket of Rajasthan's captain Riyan Parag.

Hinge's spell turned the match in SRH's favour as the Royals could not recover from the early losses, leading to defeat.
