Since they had to clinch this match to qualify for the playoffs, the Riyan Parag-led side blasted 73 runs during the last five overs to recover after a top-order batting collapse.
Archer hammered three sixes and a four in his gritty knock of 32 runs off 15 balls, while Jadeja charged in at No.9, slamming three fours during the final three overs to propel the team's score beyond 200 runs.
All the attention zeroed in on Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (4) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (27), but the youngster departed early. Jaiswal tried to unleash big shots, but Will Jacks dismissed him.
Sooryavanshi unleashed a big shot on the first ball, smashing a six to Deepak Chahar (2/43), but Will Jacks, stationed at deep extra cover, seized a stunning catch near the boundary ropes.
Sooryavanshi then struggled to connect with any deliveries. Chahar fired an outswinger, Sooryavanshi swung big and lofted the ball, but Naman Dhir sprinted forward to snatch a brilliant catch.
The young teen sensation exited soon after Jaiswal, who also launched a flying start but lost his wicket early.
Jaiswal slugged a few sixes off Chahar's over and blasted another six off Jack's over toward long-off, but mistimed a leading edge as Jack delivered a lengthy ball.
After slumping to 33/2, the Riyan Parag-led side failed to rally. Captain Riyan Parag couldn't transform his start, and Jurel also couldn't deliver a strong performance.
Parag punished a few loose balls for fours, and just when he was poised to go big, he mistimed a shot that let Tilak Varma leap for a bunny-hop catch during Allah Ghazanfar's over.
After a disappointing outing this year, Riyan is fortunate not to be part of the India A squad, yet has been picked as vice-captain — a move that surprised and stirred emotions among former cricketers.
