While Shreyas Iyer-led India's T20I team is going through a tough phase after losing four of its last five matches, former captain Rohit Sharma has already begun preparing for the upcoming ODI series against England.
Rohit, who now only plays ODI cricket after retiring from Tests and T20Is, has reached London early to get used to the conditions before the series begins.
According to a report by TimesofIndia.com, the 39-year-old has been training at local cricket clubs in London. He first had practice sessions at Slough Cricket Club in Berkshire before moving to Swyncombe Cricket Club.
The Indian opener is expected to join the rest of the ODI squad in Birmingham ahead of the series.
India vs England ODI series schedule
India and England will play a three-match ODI series, with the opening game scheduled for July 14 in Birmingham. The second ODI will be played in Cardiff, while the final match will take place in London.
Rohit recently recovered from the hamstring injury he suffered during IPL 2026, which had limited his time on the field before the ODI series.
He made his return during the ODI series against Afghanistan. After scoring 16 in the opening match, Rohit followed it up with 48 in the second game before finishing with a quick 79 off 69 balls in the final ODI as India completed a 3-0 series sweep.

Five of those hundreds came during the 2019 ODI World Cup, the most centuries scored by any batter in a single edition of the tournament.
One of the finest batters of his generation, Rohit was recently honoured with the Padma Shri, one of India's highest civilian awards.
