England captain Ben Stokes has expressed his discontent with the Decision Review System (DRS) after opener Zak Crawley was given out lbw in the second Test in Vizag. In the second Test, India leveled the series 1-1 by winning with a margin of 106 runs on the fourth day. England in their pursuit of 399 runs, got bowled out for 292 in which Crawley emerged as the leading scorer with 73 runs.

However, the lbw decision against Crawley in the second innings became a massive point of discussion on social media. Crawley got struck on the pad by a delivery from Kuldeep Yadav, and the on-field umpire, Marais Erasmus, initially gave it not out. However, after a review requested by India captain Rohit Sharma, the decision was overturned, with Stokes expressing disatisfaction on the certainty of the ball's impact on the leg stump.

Stokes, however, clarified that despite his concerns with the DRS decision, he does not believe it was the sole reason for England's loss in the Test match.

"Technology in the game is obviously there," said Stokes at stumps. "Everyone has an understanding of the reasons it can never be 100% which is why we have the umpire's call. That's why it's in place.

"When it's not 100% as everyone says, I don't think it's unfair for someone to say 'I think the technology has got it wrong on this occasion'. And that is my personal opinion. I will say that.

"But in a game full of ifs, buts and maybes, I am not going to say that's the reason why we haven't got the result we wanted. I'm just saying my personal opinion is that the technology has gone wrong on this occasion, and I think that's fair to say."

On the contrary, England captain Ben Stokes said he is proud of his inexperienced spinners, who gave a good account of themselves even in their defeat in the second test against India.
