Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025: India's ODI skipper, along with Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul, will feature in the Vijay Hazare Trophy next month. These players will join their team before the three-match ODI series against New Zealand.
As per Cricbuzz, Shubman Gill will play in Punjab's next match later this week against teams like Sikkim and Goa. Punjab is clubbed with Mumbai in Group C, and is lying in 4th position after winning two matches of the three that they have played till now. Gill will leave this team to join the national team in Baroda, before the first ODI.
Ravindra Jadeja has also made himself available and will be seen in action against Services and Gujarat. The group matches of Saurashtra are being held in Alur, and they have won just one match and are lying in sixth position in the points table.

The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) hasn't revealed anything about KL Rahul's availability, but he might play on January 3 and 6 against teams like Tripura and Rajasthan. They are lying in second position in the Group A points table as they have won all their matches.
A lot of star players have already played in the ongoing domestic tournament. Star batters Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have also followed the BCCI's rule. Wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant is also continuously playing for Delhi.
Kohli might play another match for Delhi against Railways. Star opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has joined Mumbai again for their match against Goa after he was rushed to Goa due to stomach cramps post their SMAT clash against Rajasthan.
At the same time, star pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been exempted from playing this tournament owing to his workload management.
