The clip seems to be from an airport lounge, where players were waiting while travelling. In the video, the Punjab Kings (PBKS) fast bowler is seen joking around with his teammate Shashank Singh.

In the video, Arshdeep can be seen playfully teasing Shashank, who was resting on a bench. Another teammate is also with him during the moment. The fun started because Shashank has had a tough run in recent matches, especially in the field.
Shashank dropped three catches vs LSG
In a game against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Shashank dropped three catches and made a few fielding mistakes. Things got worse in the match against Delhi Capitals, where he dropped KL Rahul early in the innings. Rahul made full use of that chance and went on to score a big 150-plus knock.
Taking a light-hearted dig at this, Arshdeep imitated the dropped catches while Shashank was trying to sleep in the lounge. Despite the teasing, Shashank didn’t react much and just continued resting.
Arshdeep Singh picked up 8 wickets in 8 matches so far in IPL 2026 and has been expensive, with an economy rate of 10.96. In his last match against Rajasthan Royals, he gave away 68 runs in four overs and took only one wicket.
PBKS faced first defeat of IPL 2026
Punjab Kings also faced their first defeat of the season against Rajasthan Royals. Playing at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh PCA Stadium, PBKS scored a strong 222 runs for 4 wickets, but it wasn’t enough.
Rajasthan Royals chased the target comfortably. Donovan Ferreira and Shubham Dubey played key roles in the chase. Ferreira scored 52 not out from 26 balls, while Dubey added a quick 31 not out from just 12 deliveries, helping RR seal the win with ease. The Punjab-based franchise will now face Gujarat Titans (GT) in their upcoming clash which will take place on May 3 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
