WPL 2026 Points Table: Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated the UP Warriorz by 9 wickets in match 5 of the ongoing Women's Premier League 2025-26 at the DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai on Monday, January 12. RCB maintained their winning run early in the tournament as they produced a dominating performance in all departments.

They chased down the 144-run target in just 12.1 overs on the back of an incredible knock from Grace Harris. The Australian batter smashed the UP bowlers all around the park and scored 85 runs in just 40 balls on the back of 10 fours and five sixes. Chasing the target, RCB gave no chance to the Warriorz as Harris and skipper Smriti Mandhana stitched a massive opening partnership of 137 runs.

Mandhana also came up with an outstanding performance, but missed out on her first fifty of the season as she remained unbeaten on 47 runs. She took just 32 balls for her effort and smashed nine fours. With wins in their first two matches, RCB jumped to the top of the WPL 2026 points table and have four points under their belt. Gujarat Giants, who also have won their first two games, were slipped to second place.

Notably, RCB have a net run rate of 1.964 as compared to GG's net run rate of 0.350. The two-time champions Mumbai Indians, stand third. Having lost their first two matches, the Delhi Capitals and UP Warriorz are placed fourth and fifth, respectively.

Mumbai Indians will also be looking to make it two out of two when they face the in-form Gujarat Giants in the sixth match of the season on Tuesday. GG have a chance to produce another dominating performance and take over the top spot once again.
