The Delhi government has taken significant decisions regarding pollution control during a Cabinet meeting. A key move includes bringing the entire bus operation network in Delhi under the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC). This decision entails ending private arrangements such as the Cluster or DIMTS systems to ensure 100 per cent management by the DTC. This step has been taken to strengthen the public transport system and reduce pollution. Additionally, emphasis was placed on the rationalisation of DTC bus routes.
'No PUC, No Fuel' Rule Made Permanent
In another major decision, the government has decided to implement the 'No PUC, No Fuel' rule permanently, even after the lifting of GRAP-4 restrictions. This ensures that vehicles without a valid Pollution Under Control (PUCC) certificate will be denied fuel, thereby helping to maintain clean air in Delhi. Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa shared these details, stating that these measures will establish effective control over pollution in the coming times.

Rejuvenation Of Water Bodies
The Cabinet also took a crucial decision regarding the rejuvenation of Delhi's reservoirs and water sources. This initiative aims to improve groundwater levels, promote biodiversity, and ensure the conservation of clean water sources.
First 'e-Waste Eco Park' In Holambi Kalan
Furthermore, the government has approved the establishment of an 'e-Waste Eco Park' in Holambi Kalan. This initiative is designed to ensure the scientific and safe disposal of electronic waste, further strengthening environmental protection efforts in the capital.
