Delhi: CM Rekha Gupta To Lay Foundation Stone For Rs 300 Crore Development Projects In South Delhi

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will lay the foundation stone for development projects worth more than Rs 300 crore in the Badarpur, Sangam Vihar, and Deoli assembly constituencies of South Delhi. These projects include the reconstruction of roads, drains, community halls (Barat Ghar), dispensaries, and schools.

On Sunday, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will lay the foundation stone for development projects worth over Rs 300 crore in three South Delhi assembly constituencies, Badarpur, Sangam Vihar, and Deoli.

South Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri announced that construction work for projects worth Rs 85 crore in Badarpur, Rs 115 crore in Sangam Vihar, and Rs 104 crore in Deoli will commence following the foundation-laying ceremony.

The development initiatives include the construction of roads, drains, community halls (Barat Ghar), dispensaries, school reconstruction, park development, toilets, and other infrastructure works aimed at improving the quality of life for residents.

Bidhuri said that Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has allocated sufficient funds for public amenities across Delhi, including these localities. He added that during a recent meeting with all seven MPs, the Chief Minister assured that there would be no shortage of funds for development work.

Funds for these projects have been sanctioned by various departments, including the Chief Minister’s Development Fund, Rural Development Board, Urban Development Department, Gramodaya Yojana, and DUSIB. Additionally, development schemes are also being financed through the MP’s fund.
