To realise the resolution of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India), Rozgar Melas (Employment Fairs) were simultaneously organised at 45 centres across various states and union territories of the country, through which a total of 61,000 young people were given appointment letters. In this connection, 253 young people were also given appointments in the Central Armed Forces and prestigious institutions at the Rozgar Mela held in Dehradun.
Handing over the appointment letters, Union Minister of State Ajay Tamta said that these employment fairs have been initiated with the goal of providing employment to young people. The selected candidates will first be given the necessary training, after which they will be deployed.

On Saturday, the Rozgar Mela-2026 was organised at the Seemadwar campus of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). Union Minister of State (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways) Ajay Tamta was present as the chief guest at the event. On this occasion, appointment letters were handed over to 253 young people.
This included young people selected for various Central Armed Police Forces and prestigious institutions, including the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Assam Rifles, DFS, FSI, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (Rishikesh), and ISRO.
Before this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his best wishes to the newly appointed individuals virtually. At the end of the programme, Union Minister of State Ajay Tamta expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister on behalf of the newly appointed individuals, stating that due to the Prime Minister's tireless efforts, work in various departments has accelerated, resulting in initiatives like the Rozgar Mela providing opportunities for young people in government services.

Cantt MLA Savita Kapoor, Inspector General of the Northern Frontier Headquarters Manu Maharaj, Anand Singh, IPS Barinderjit Singh, Deputy Inspector General Parminder Singh, Commandant Rinku Thapa, and others were present at the event.
