Considering the problem of pollution, the Delhi government has directed the district committees, which were established last October, to take stricter action. These committees are co-chaired by the District Magistrate, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, and the Deputy Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation.

Various departments related to pollution control are members of these committees. The government has asked these committees to focus more on monitoring and taking action to control pollution. For the past few days, the problem of pollution in Delhi has remained quite severe. The opposition is making several allegations in this regard.

The opposition Aam Aadmi Party is continuously putting pressure on the government, claiming that only token action is being taken in the name of pollution control. Waste is being burned in many places, construction work is ongoing, and strict action against polluting vehicles is only happening on paper.

Keeping all these issues in mind, the government has asked the committees formed for pollution monitoring at the district level to take stricter action. These committees were first formed last October, with the District Magistrate, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, and the Deputy Commissioner of the municipal corporation area as co-chairs, and various departments related to pollution monitoring and action as members. However, there have been reports that the committees were not working actively.

Following this, the government has directed that action be taken against those who are not heeding the government's repeated warnings and are involved in polluting activities. Debris is being dumped at various locations across Delhi, which is increasing dust pollution.

The Public Works Department, the Municipal Corporation, and the New Delhi Municipal Council have also been asked to continuously sprinkle water on the roads to reduce dust pollution. The government wants to improve the pollution situation that has developed in Delhi over the past few days.
