The Delhi government is set to install additional CCTV cameras at the Anand Vihar and Sarai Kale Khan ISBTs (Inter-State Bus Terminals). To strengthen security and surveillance, a comprehensive CCTV monitoring system will be implemented at two of the capital's busiest transport hubs.

According to officials, the project aims to ensure 24/7 surveillance of all key areas of the inter-state bus terminals, including entry and exit gates, platforms, internal roads, and parking zones.

The system will enable continuous visual verification, live monitoring of activities from a dedicated control room, and supervision by engineers-in-charge.

An official stated that the surveillance network is expected to help prevent and detect crimes, curb corruption, track the movement of vehicles and passengers, and monitor the alertness and deployment of security personnel on duty. It will also assist in the early detection of incidents, the effective management of emergencies, and the identification of disasters requiring immediate action.
