Delhi Trains Late: Amrit Bharat Express 17.5 Hours, Champaran Humsafar 16.5 Hours Behind Schedule

Long-distance and local trains in Delhi are continuously running late, forcing passengers to wait for hours in the severe cold. The Darbhanga Amrit Bharat Express departed 17.30 hours late and the Champaran Humsafar Express by 16.30 hours. Frequent changes to train schedules have added to the passengers' difficulties. Approximately 70 trains are running more than two hours behind schedule, affecting travel.

For the past several days, long-distance as well as local trains have been running late. The most significant problem is being caused by frequent changes to the schedules of delayed trains. Due to a lack of correct information, passengers are having to wait for hours on the platform for their trains amidst the biting cold.

70 Trains Delayed In Delhi; Departures Affected

On Saturday, approximately 70 trains arriving in Delhi were running more than two hours late. Due to their late arrival, many trains will also depart late. The Darbhanga Amrit Bharat Express and Champaran Express, scheduled to run on Friday, departed on Saturday morning.

Major Trains Departing Late From Delhi

Anand Vihar Terminal-Darbhanga Amrit Bharat Express - 17:30 hours

Old Delhi-Katihar Champaran Humsafar Express - 16:30 hours

New Delhi-Darbhanga Humsafar Special - 6:24 hours

New Delhi-Lohian Khas Sarbat Da Bhala Express - 2:30 hours

New Delhi-Howrah Duronto Express - 1:55 hours

Local EMU And Passenger Trains Hit By Delays

The Mathura-Ghaziabad EMU is running late by 1 hour and 30 minutes, while the Mathura-New Delhi EMU, Saharanpur-Old Delhi EMU, and Bulandshahr-Tilak Bridge MEMU are each delayed by one hour. Many other local trains, including the Panipat-Old Delhi EMU, Shamli-Old Delhi DEMU, Rewari-Old Delhi Passenger and Kurukshetra-Old Delhi EMU, are running late by 30 to 45 minutes.
