Delhi Water Cut: In view of the annual flushing programme of the Jeet Garh Reservoir under the Chandrawal Water Works, the Delhi Jal Board has announced water supply disruption in several parts of the national capital on January 3 and from January 5 to 8, 2026.

Water supply from the Jeet Garh Reservoir will be completely disrupted or run at low pressure during this period. The Delhi Jal Board has apologised for the inconvenience caused by the water supply disruption and advised residents in affected areas to plan their day ahead and use water carefully during the maintenance period.

Delhi Water Cut: Check List Of Affected Areas

The annual flushing programme of the Jeet Garh Reservoir under the Chandrawal Water Works will be carried out on January 3 and from January 5 to 8, 2026. Water supply to the areas served by Jeet Garh Reservoir may be completely disrupted or run at low pressure during this period.

Affected areas include Old Sabzi Mandi, Barf Khana, Malka Ganj, Sarai Phus, Bangla Road, Rajpur Road, Shakti Nagar, Vijay Nagar, Roop Nagar, University Area, Police Line Area, Shri Ram Institute, and Bahar Ghar. Residents are urged to use water responsibly to avoid inconvenience.

Delhi Water Cut: Tanker Services And Emergency Helpline

In case of water shortage, residents can request water tankers by contacting their nearest water emergency control room, ensuring an uninterrupted water supply during the maintenance period.
