Residents of Vikram Nagar, Kotla Firozshah, in Delhi have expressed concern over the deteriorating condition of the local government dispensary, which was set up to provide medical treatment and medicines to hundreds of people in the settlement.
According to locals, piles of rubbish, filth, foul odours, and scattered waste around the dispensary are posing a constant risk of infection, making it difficult for children, the elderly, and women to access healthcare.

Despite repeated complaints, sanitation has not improved. Munni Lal Verma, secretary of Vikram Nagar, described the situation as a serious health issue and warned that residents’ difficulties would increase if cleaning is not carried out promptly.

Residents Ramkishan Sharma and Seema Devi have urged authorities to remove the garbage immediately and ensure regular maintenance of the area. Residents say that proper cleanliness and sanitation around the dispensary would encourage more people to seek treatment, allowing the settlement to fully benefit from government health services.
