Ram Temple Trust CEO Vacancy: Amid an ongoing controversy over alleged embezzlement of Ram Temple donations, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has invited applications for the post of Chief Executive Officer, the official who will head the temple's administrative management and oversee its day-to-day operations.

According to the Trust's notification, interested candidates must submit their applications by 4 pm on July 18. The move follows the finalisation of eligibility criteria by a selection committee, setting the stage for a new administrative chief at one of India's most significant religious sites.

Eligibility Criteria For The Role:

As per the finalised criteria, applicants must be graduates with at least 20 years of experience in administration or finance. Candidates who have previously managed temple operations will be given preference, and all applicants must be followers of the Hindu faith. The selected CEO will be appointed for an initial three-year term and will be required to reside in Ayodhya throughout the tenure. Selection Process Underway

The committee has also decided to appoint a Secretary to assist with the recruitment process. Sources cited by ANI indicate that the entire selection process, including interviews of shortlisted candidates, is expected to be completed within the next month.

Backdrop: Supreme Court Scrutiny

The recruitment drive comes as the Supreme Court issued notices to the Centre, the Uttar Pradesh government, and the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Trust on petitions seeking an independent, court-monitored probe into the alleged misappropriation of Ram Temple donations.

The apex court has also directed the UP government's Special Investigation Team (SIT) to submit a status report and disclose its composition.

What The Role Entails?

Speaking on Sunday, Ram Mandir construction committee chairman Nripendra Misra clarified the scope of the CEO's role, stating that the officer would function as the administrative head of temple management while remaining accountable to the Trust.

He noted that the extent of power delegated to the CEO would depend entirely on the Trust's decision, and that any changes to sub-committees would follow existing bylaws.
